Situation:
After it was spun off from its parent company in 1999, Minneapolis-based curtainwall
and glazing specialty subcontractor Harmon Limited wanted to make a name for
itself and create a separate identify from its former sister company, Harmon
Inc.
Strategies:
To separate Harmon Limited from other companies, RMS Public Relations
created an multi-faceted public relations program. The program emphasized
the depth and breath of the projects completed by the company and also
leveraged its expertise and experience in several key categories. Tactics
included media relations, employee communications and trade show support.
Additionally, as a value-added service, RMSPR coordinated advertising
in several trade publications.
